Fun Stuff to Read

Read Sweet Angel's post on Judith McNaught's SOMETHING WONDERFUL. This is definitely going to be my next purchase. Jealous heroes? Yes, please.

All About Romance has a review up for Hawkins' upcoming HER MASTER AND COMMANDER...I'm not exactly surprised by it and...if I not mistaken, didn't she already write this book and get it published...I think it was called LADY IN RED .
The storyline is not one of my favorites.

LiR was horridly boring...

In fact it is the book that made me take all her book down to reskim and figure out if she just had an off book or if I has some books to take to the ubs.

I usually like Hawkins, but I think I'll skip that book. LOL

Happy Reading with SW. It's a great one!

I can't wait to get SW....I'm going tomorrow...so excited.

YES! LIR was a big snore...Hawkins was great at one pt. Remember THE SEDUCTION OF SARA? Her last series SUCKED to be honest. I don't know about this new one, but I'm not going to be lining up anywhere to get it...I might eventually read it, but I'm def not spending $8 for it.

I read Something Wonderful many years ago and remember loving it. I kept it with my keepers until I had to do a purge to make more room. Very good book.

Have you noticed there have been a lot of reviews of Avon books that have been in the C range at AAR lately? I see a C grade, check the publisher and sure enough - AVON.
I read Something Wonderful years ago but can't really remember it much these days. I did pull out Once and Always out of my pile the other day for a reread. That's always been my favourite McNaught book.

ONCE AND ALWAYS, huh?

Kristie, I'm writing up a list right now of books to look out for...I'm going to my favorite UBS tomorrow and am planning on spending a bit...gosh, I really shouldn't, but I've been reading such terrible books lately...I really need some good ones. I'm also going to buy the new Hern book...gotta support her; she's a great writer AND she removed herself from the evil clutches of AVON. Hawkins' books are not what they used to be...gosh, this last one...honestly, I thought maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but it sounds so much like LADY IN RED (the part about the hero and heroine not getting along) that I just can't stomach it. I think that book about the chick wearing plaid was the worst...I couldn't get past page 5...terrible!!!
