Rants, Reviews and Spoilers...Oh, My!
I haven't even heard of her...but DAYUM! It sounds good. ;)
I've heard of her and have the book, but I haven't read it yet.
Wait...the review says the book is written only from the heroine's point of view...I don't know if I like that.
Hey there! I thought I'd pop in to tell you I love your blog — Candice Hern told me about it (I'm a Fog City Diva, too!). I loved Jackie's Lady of the Knight, too, but I haven't read her latest. She really has a unique voice (and she's a nice person. :)) . Don't know if you've ever read any of my stuff, but BEAUTY AND THE SPY is a March book and AAR made it a Desert Island Keeper — my second one! (THE RUNAWAY DUKE was the first). I'm unbelievably jazzed! Maybe we'll see you at our West Portal signing on the 11th. Take care for now!...julieJulie Anne Longhttp://www.julieannelong.com
I second Holly's DAYUM!
Isabel - yeah, the book sounds delicious, but I usually like books with both pts of view...hmmm...it sounds really good though...argh!Julie Anne - Thanks for reading the blog! I am coming to the book signing and was planning to get your book also, based on the AAR review. I've never read any of your books. See you at the signing...I'm so excited. Can't wait.
Oh..only from the heroines POV? I'm not sure I dig that, either. Hmmm...My favorite parts are the hero's POV...
I read this...or tried to read it. They argued so much that they annoyed me and the heroine had a "secret" she had to tell the hero yet every time she tried to, he'd jump to conclusions, she'd start stuttering and both just got on my nerves. This was my first DNF of the year and I ended up skimming it after the first few chapters. I felt the need to shake the heroine and yell "For the love of God, spit it out already!" ROFL I ended up sending it to someone at PBS.
Mad - oh, dear...I don't know if I want to read it. Sounds like I might pull all my hair out at the end of it. Thanks for telling me.
Yowza! That guy looks hot. No, I haven't read anything by her, but this is a book I'd read for the cover.
