I've been fighting the flu/cold for the last two weeks...ended up going to work sick because I didn't want to use my vacation days....but now...I am off 'til January 2, 2007. I AM SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY I CANNOT SEE STRAIGHT! No work for more than a week...a joy to my world indeed. I have an assortment of books to read and am ready to begin...today I finished my X-mas shopping and I can finally relax and begin the reading marathon.

I've been so out of the loop, I'm still trying to figure out the whole beta blogger thing everyone's been talking about this month (and last, too). Hmmm....

I was sick for 2 weeks and now am better and I've gained all the weight I've lost during the time I was sick and then some...I'm being so incredibly unhealthy. I'm stressed for nothing and I really think I need to take something for this...it's driving me nuts!!! Argh!
I do love to sleep in though....I want to be a socialite who sleeps in all day.
My sister lives in SD...we're trying to get her to move here, since she got laid off (jerks) and is now doing temp work. Of course, her bf (or ex bf...we don't know) lives there and you know how that goes....she's broke though and needs to move.
I'm reading RULES OF SEDUCTION right now. I need IM buddies...let me know if you ever want to chat. My new year's resolution is to chat more with my blog buddies. I've been terrible this year for a variety of reasons....

Glad you're feeling better! I still haven't made the switch to Beta. And I don't think I want to either. I don't know why - when something is working, they want to go change it. I don't think Beta helps when Blogger is acting up does it? So I'll probably be the last hold-out.
